The Infinity of Labrador

On the deck of the Polar Prince, standing silently together staring at an iceberg sailing by

The open ocean blends with a coastal fog in Nachvak fjord until it becomes the night sky

Look back to the Razorback spine, quiet in this moment, the stars illuminate one at a time

Reach deep into the water, the depth of this journey, at what I hope to find

An untranslatable experience that we take away together and cohabitate as it integrates into our lives

The past has been here before, walked where I've walked, lived where I lay

The future to reconcile but the past forever stays

Echoing in Eclipse Sound, from wall to wall in Saglek fjord, on and on to Hebron and all of its closed doors

Eternally grateful to be silently standing together, bound by finite time in the infinity of Labrador
